1. Review the eligibility for care below

A. Do you have health insurance? We only accept those with NO insurance.

B. Must be a resident of either Anderson, Morgan, or Roane Counties in Tennessee or be a member, employee or student of one of FMC partnerships (Like RSCC or TCAT)

C. Qualify based on income levels

Single person: $29,160 or less Family of two: $39,440 or less Family of three: $49,720 or less Family of four: $60,000 or less Family of five: $70,280 or less

Once we receive your request from this form, we will call you to confirm your first appointment. Will it really cost me nothing?

Most patients can’t believe that there is no charge, but that is right, it is free to you. Generous and caring community members want you to receive the care you need but can’t afford. If you qualify with the areas above then you are ready to become a FMC patient. We give away millions of dollars a year in value of care to our patients in Anderson, Morgan, and Roane Counties and with our partnerships. Neighbors like you are why we exist. You will never receive a bill from FMC.

What medical care and services do you provide?

We provide everything a regular primary care clinic provides and a little more. This includes but not limited to: FMC SERVICES WE PROVIDE (English/Spanish); *Primary and Preventive Care (In-person and Telehealth); *Specialty Care (Cardiologist, Orthopedic, Gastrointestinal, Neurology, Respiratory, Sleep Study); *Diagnostics: Imagining, lab work, testing, screenings, vaccines, immunizations; *Access to medication resources and equipment; *Mobile Clinic Unit and Medical Events (Remote Area Medical, Back to School Healthy, Flu and Covid Pop-Up Clinics); *Special Medical Programs: Hepatitis, Women’s Health, Lung Cancer, Diabetes, Optometry/Eyeglasses, Medical Referrals. Patient Financial Assistance; Pharmacy Vouchers; *Medical and Nursing Student Clinical Rotation

The Free Medical Clinic Statement on Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964

Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, or national origin in programs and activities receiving Federal financial assistance. Specifically, Title VI provides that "no person in the United States shall, on the grounds of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance." (42 U.S.C. Section 2000d). The Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987 clarified the intent of Title VI to include all programs and activities of Federal-aid recipients, sub-recipients, and contractors whether those programs and activities are federally funded or not. The Free Medical Clinic adheres to Title VI laws.
